Tinubu Visits Kaduna for Yari’s Son’s Wedding, Buhari’s Family Visit -

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday arrived in Kaduna State for a one-day official visit that combines high-level political engagements with social obligations.

The presidential jet touched down at the Kaduna International Airport around 1:00 p.m., where the President was received by Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, alongside Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, ministers, senators, and other senior government officials.

To Attend Yari’s Family Wedding

During the visit, President Tinubu is scheduled to attend the wedding ceremony of Nasirudeen Yari and Safiyya Idris.

Nasirudeen is the son of former Zamfara State Governor and serving Senator for Zamfara West, Abdul’aziz Yari, a key political figure in northern Nigeria.

Courtesy Visit to Buhari’s Family

The President is also expected to pay a courtesy visit to Aisha Buhari, widow of former President Muhammadu Buhari, at the Buhari family residence in Kaduna.

The visit marks Tinubu’s continued outreach to political allies and influential families across the country, reinforcing ties within Nigeria’s northern political bloc.
