Senator Fasuyi Felicitates Christians, Urges Prayers for National Peace

The Senator representing Ekiti North Senatorial District, Sen. Cyril Fasuyi, has felicitated with Christians on the celebration of Christmas, urging them to embody the virtues of love, peace and humility exemplified by Jesus Christ.
In a Christmas message personally signed by him on Thursday, Fasuyi described the season as a period for deep reflection on the teachings of Christ, particularly unconditional love, peaceful coexistence and respect for authority.
The senator called on Christians to remain steadfast in prayers for Nigeria’s growth and development, noting that collective faith and commitment to peace were essential to overcoming the country’s current challenges.
He said the celebration of Christ’s birth should inspire Nigerians to live out the values of sacrifice, unity and compassion in their daily lives, stressing that such virtues were critical to building a stable and harmonious society.
Fasuyi also urged Nigerians, especially the Christian community, to use the season to pray for an end to insecurity in the country, expressing confidence that unity, faith and resilience would prevail over security challenges.
On behalf of his family and the Ekiti North Senatorial District office, the lawmaker congratulated Christians on the festive season and wished Nigerians a peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
