Senator Fasuyi Congratulates Oyebanji on APC Consensus Candidacy, Hails Inclusive Leadership

The Senator representing Ekiti North Senatorial District, Cyril Fasuyi has congratulated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus candidate for the June 21, 2026 Ekiti State governorship election.
In a statement made available to newsmen, Senator Fasuyi described the Governor’s emergence as a reflection of divine favour, humility, and selfless leadership, noting that Oyebanji’s inclusive governance style has endeared him to people across the state.

He said the overwhelming support that greeted the consensus affirmation was proof of the Governor’s strong connection with the grassroots and his commitment to ensuring that every part of Ekiti benefits from the dividends of democracy.
The Senator also commended Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs.) Monisade Afuye, for her loyalty and dedication to service, while appreciating APC leaders such as Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, and Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele for their wisdom and unity of purpose in guiding the party through a peaceful and transparent process.
Senator Fasuyi concluded by praying for God’s continued guidance for Governor Oyebanji as he continues to steer Ekiti State towards greater peace, progress, and prosperity.
