Oyebanji to Sign 2026 Appropriation Bill, Two Other Laws

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, is scheduled to sign the 2026 Appropriation Law on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, following its passage by the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
The governor will also assent to two other recently passed bills: the Ekiti State Revenue Administration Law, 2025, and the Ekiti State College of Technology, Ijero-Ekiti Law, 2025.
A statement signed by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Mr Olayinka Oyebode, noted that the law-signing ceremony will take place at the Ekiti State Executive Council Chamber, Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti, by 10:00 a.m.
According to the statement, members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, the State Executive Council and other top government officials are expected to be seated by 9:30 a.m.
The signing of the budget and other bills underscores the government’s commitment to planning, revenue management and the expansion of higher education in the state.
