OSV Commends Oyebanji, APC for Peaceful Ward Congress in Ekiti

The Oyebanji Street Vanguard (OSV) has commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership and members in Ekiti State for the peaceful and transparent conduct of the ward delegates’ congress held across the 177 wards of the state on Saturday.
In a statement issued by its Convener, HC Ade on Sunday in Ado-Ekiti, the group praised Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for his exemplary leadership, which it said ensured the rancour-free and credible exercise.
According to OSV, the congress, which produced five delegates from each ward in all 16 local government areas, was conducted in full compliance with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) guidelines and the Electoral Act 2022 (as amended).
“The process was seamless, transparent, and well-organised, reflecting the unity and democratic values of our great party,” the statement noted.
Officials of INEC, journalists, civil society organisations, and security agencies monitored the exercise, which was described as one of the most peaceful in the party’s history.
The group urged all newly elected delegates to sustain the same spirit of discipline and harmony during the consensus affirmation of Governor Oyebanji as the party’s sole candidate, scheduled for Monday, October 27, 2025.
