Olufaki Felicitates Ooni of Ife at 51, Describes Him as Symbol of Unity

The Olufaki of Ifaki-Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) John Adegbenro Falore, Ajigbade III, has congratulated the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on his 51st birthday, describing him as a symbol of transformational leadership and unity within the Yoruba race and across the world.
In a statement issued by his media office, Oba Falore extolled the virtues of the Ooni, noting that his reign has continued to promote peace, progress, and cultural renaissance among Yoruba people globally.
The monarch lauded the Ooni’s deliberate efforts at fostering harmony and understanding among Yoruba traditional rulers, adding that his sustained pursuit of development has brought enviable progress to the ancient city of Ile-Ife and uplifted his subjects.
Oba Falore said Oba Ogunwusi’s courage, wisdom, and purposefulness in advancing Yoruba culture, heritage, and ideals have made him an enduring inspiration and a rallying point for unity.
He further commended the Ooni’s role as Co-Chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN), acknowledging his contributions toward building bridges of peace and attracting physical and socio-cultural development to the traditional institution.
“I, on behalf of the good people of Ifaki-Ekiti, wish the Ooni of Ife more prosperous years ahead in greatness and good health,” the Olufaki added.
