Olatunbosun Hails Fayose at 65, Describes Him as “A Defining Force in Leadership”

The Special Adviser to Ekiti State Governor on Information, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun, has described former Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose, as a defining force in leadership whose contributions to the state continue to resonate with the people.
In a statement celebrating the former governor’s 65th birthday, Rt. Hon. Olatunbosun said Fayose remains a symbol of courage, candour and genuine connection with the masses.
According to the statement personally signed by the former Deputy Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, he noted that working with Fayose during his first term, especially in his capacity as “acting governor,” was a period of learning and mutual trust. He said the former governor related with him not just as a colleague in government but as a brother, demonstrating the rare virtues of sincerity and openness in public leadership.
Rt. Hon. Olatunbosun said his relationship with Fayose has endured beyond political office because it is built on mutual respect, loyalty and shared commitment to the progress of Ekiti State. He added that the former governor’s guidance and frankness left a lasting impact on his journey in public service.
“As I reflect on the path we have walked and the years ahead, I remain deeply grateful for the privilege of sharing a part of this journey with you,” he said.
He described Fayose as a leader whose influence transcends titles and one who continues to command the affection of the people.
Rt. Hon. Olatunbosun congratulated the former governor and prayed for more strength as he marks his 65th birthday.
