Okemesi/Ido-Ile LCDA Chairman Congratulates Oyebanji on APC Governorship Ticket

The Chairman of Okemesi/Ido-Ile Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ajibade Sunday Owolabi, has congratulated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2026 Ekiti State election.
In a statement issued by his media office in Okemesi-Ekiti, Hon. Ajibade described the governor’s victory as “a resounding testimony to his unwavering dedication, unrelenting passion, and visionary leadership which have captured the hearts of Ekiti people.”
He also commended the other aspirants for their courage and contribution to a robust and healthy contest.
The council boss further lauded the APC National Election Committee led by Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for the democratic and peaceful conduct of the nomination exercise.
“In the same vein, I equally congratulate the National Election Committee led by Governor Ododo for the democratic and peaceful way it handled the election,” he added.
Hon. Ajibade appealed to all stakeholders and party members to unite behind the governor as the party prepares for the forthcoming election.
“Now that the contest is over and a candidate has emerged, I wish to appeal to everybody to team up for the enormous and ultimate task ahead,” he urged.
The LCDA chairman pledged to mobilise massive grassroots support for Oyebanji’s re-election, noting that the governor’s achievements across the state have already endeared him to the people.
“Governor Oyebanji’s achievements in our council area have made the campaign an easy ride for him. Our people are ready to vote massively for continuity and progress,” Ajibade said.
