Live: Soludo In Massive Lead As INEC Collates Results In Anambra Election

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has established a strong lead in the results so far released by the Independent National Electoral Commission from Saturday’s governorship election across the state’s local government areas.

The collation exercise, which began in the early hours of Sunday at the INEC headquarters in Awka, attracted election officials, accredited observers, journalists, party agents, and other stakeholders who monitored the process.

Preliminary figures from several local government areas show Soludo, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), leading by a wide margin ahead of his closest rivals from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Young Progressives Party (YPP).
