Ekiti APC EXCO Lauds Oyebanji’s Achievements, Calls His Performance ‘Beyond Expectation’ -

The Ekiti State Executive Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has passed a vote of confidence on Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, rating his administration highly in governance, security, infrastructure, agriculture, health, education, and overall human development.

The commendation came after a three-day inspection tour of projects across the state’s three senatorial districts, during which the Exco assessed the governor’s developmental strides in less than three years in office.

In a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Segun Dipe on Saturday in Ado-Ekiti, the party leadership said Oyebanji had given Ekiti a “befitting facelift” since assuming office, ensuring the state competes favorably among its peers nationwide.

Projects inspected included agricultural farms, power substations, completed and ongoing roads, hospitals, schools, the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport, and the Ring Road Phase 1, among others.

APC State Chairman, Hon. (Barr.) Olusola Elesin, described the governor’s achievements as “phenomenal,” praising his commitment to road expansion, poverty reduction, security enhancement, and revival of moribund state-owned enterprises.

“There is no doubt that the governor (Oyebanji) has done a yeoman’s job. He has performed creditably well, even beyond our expectation. Little wonder the good people of the state are heaping praises on him and yearning for his second term in office. We will surely ensure that the governor comes back to complete the works yet to be completed and do even more,” Elesin said.

The Exco further commended the governor’s massive investment in education, healthcare, and agro-value chains, stressing that these initiatives are attracting investors, generating employment, and transforming the state’s economy.

“We are further enthused by the Oyebanji administration’s programmes and projects, and the fact that they are spread across the 16 Local Government Areas and 22 LCDAs in Ekiti State in tune with the governor’s 6-pillar inclusive development model.

” We equally appraise the governor’s drive for making the state conducive for business as reflected in its Ease-of-doing-Business rating, culminating to attracting both local and foreign direct investments into the state. The State has also been ranked as the safest in Nigeria as well as scoring high in financial prudence,” they said.

The party EXCO also lauded his inclusive development model, noting that projects are evenly spread across the 16 LGAs and 22 LCDAs, while his focus on the ease of doing business has made Ekiti a top destination for local and foreign investors.

“Everywhere we go, it is construction, construction and construction,” members of the Exco enthused, highlighting the ambitious urban-rural connectivity drive that is reshaping Ekiti’s infrastructure landscape.
