The Ekiti Advancement Frontiers (EAF) has congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji on the approval granted by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for the commencement of commercial flight operations at the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport.

In a statement issued in Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday, the Convener of the group, Mr. Adedeji Oso, described the NCAA approval as a landmark achievement that reflects the Governor’s passion for the development of Ekiti State and the well-being of its people.

Oso said the milestone would open the state to more economic opportunities, boost investments, and create jobs for residents, aligning perfectly with the Shared Prosperity Agenda of the Oyebanji administration.

According to him, the EAF’s decision to support Governor Oyebanji’s second-term bid was based on his performance in delivering tangible results across various sectors, including infrastructure, education, agriculture, and workers’ welfare.

“It is pertinent for Ekiti people to re-elect Governor Oyebanji to complete the ongoing infrastructural projects and broaden the implementation of policies that are already yielding tremendous progress for the state,” Oso said.

He added that the Governor’s policies and initiatives align with the EAF’s policy framework for sustainable development, praising his efforts in eradicating poverty through agriculture, skills acquisition, and the prioritization of workers and pensioners’ welfare.

“Judging from what we have seen in the last three years, Oyebanji’s second term will usher in greater developmental projects and economic prosperity for Ekiti, and we are rooting for him to continue his good works,” the statement read.
