Ekiti Advancement Frontiers Commends Oyebanji On Historic First Commercial Flight To Ekiti Airport

The Ekiti Advancement Frontiers has congratulated the government and the people of Ekiti State on the successful arrival of the first commercial flight at the Ekiti Agro Allied International Cargo Airport. The group said the achievement represents a new chapter in the state’s growth agenda and signals a stronger future for aviation and economic expansion.
The group noted that the completion of the airport under Governor Biodun Oyebanji has placed Ekiti on a higher plane for investment opportunities, agricultural export and modern commercial activities. It added that the development is expected to improve business confidence, strengthen value chains and open fresh doors for agribusiness operators.
In a statement signed by the Convener of Ekiti Advancement Frontiers, Dr Adedeji Oso said the body appreciates the Governor for demonstrating commitment to projects that support the social and economic progress of the state. He described the airport as a strategic infrastructure that will boost industrial development and support the Governor’s vision of a more productive and competitive Ekiti.
The group explained that the airport will play an essential role in reducing losses for farmers, expanding access to markets and enhancing the state’s capacity for cargo movement. It added that more investors are likely to explore opportunities in Ekiti as a result of the improved transport corridor created by the commencement of flight operations.
Ekiti Advancement Frontiers also saluted all stakeholders and technical partners who contributed to the realisation of the project. The organisation urged residents, especially business owners, youths and farmers to take advantage of the new possibilities that come with increased air connectivity.
The group expressed confidence that the successful maiden commercial flight would open the way for more aviation activity, increased trade and stronger economic partnerships that will add value to the state’s development efforts.
