Cabinet Dissolution: Oyebanji Recalls Olatunbosun as Ekiti Commissioner for Information

Barely a week after announcing the dissolution of the Ekiti State Executive Council, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has recalled Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun to the cabinet.
In a statement made available to the press by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Olayinka Oyebode, Olatunbosun, who previously served as Commissioner for Information, has been reinstated to continue in the same portfolio.
According to a recall letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Habibat Adubiaro, and dated August 18, 2025, the reappointment takes immediate effect.
The move is seen as part of Governor Oyebanji’s ongoing efforts to realign his administration for better performance and continuity.

CABINET DISSOLUTION: OYEBANJI RECALLS OLATUNBOSUN
Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has recalled former Commissioner for Information, Rt. Hon Taiwo Olatunbosun back to the state executive council.
The development came barely a week after the Governor announced the dissolution of the state executive council.
Olatunbosun, according to the recall letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof Habaibat Adubiaro, and dated August 18, 2025, is to continue to function as Commissioner for Information.
The recall is with immediate effect.
