After more than a decade of shaping conversations on Nigerian television, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, the face and force behind Your View, has officially resined from TVC Communications, bringing to an end a significant chapter in her broadcast journey.

#NewsAlert report that in a statement released by TVC Communications and signed by Edward Akintara, the network’s Public Relations Manager, the media outfit confirmed Morayo’s resignation, revealing that her final day with the organisation will be Thursday, August 29, 2025.

Morayo, who served as both Managing Director of TVC Entertainment and the pioneering host of Your View, the channel’s flagship all-women talk show is leaving to pursue what was described as a personal passion project she has quietly nurtured over the years.

“After 12 impactful years at the helm of Your View, Morayo has chosen to step down in order to fully dedicate herself to a passion project. While we are saddened to see her go, we celebrate her immeasurable contributions to the show, the network, and the wider Nigerian media space,” the statement read in part.

TVC noted that while Morayo’s absence will be felt across its platforms, Your View remains a strong and vibrant programme that will continue to offer the robust, topical and engaging conversations that have earned it a loyal nationwide audience.

Her journey with TVC has been one marked by consistent growth, trailblazing editorial work, and a unique ability to blend compassion with candour in tackling national issues. Under her stewardship, Your View became not just a morning talk show, but a platform that influenced public opinion and gave voice to a wide range of societal issues especially from the perspective of women.

The company also extended appreciation to Morayo for her years of commitment, leadership and the indelible mark she leaves behind.

“We wish her every success as she takes this bold step into a new chapter. Morayo remains a cherished part of the TVC family and her legacy will continue to inspire future generations of broadcasters,” the statement added.

Members of the public and media have been urged to respect her decision and support her in this new journey, with TVC Communications directing all official inquiries to its Corporate Communications team.

As the curtains fall on Morayo’s impactful tenure, it is clear she leaves not with silence, but with applause and a new page already waiting to be written.
