Rallies Support for Governor Oyebanji

Senator Cyril Fasuyi, representing Ekiti North Senatorial District, has empowered local farmers with essential agricultural tools and financial support as part of efforts to boost food production and ease the challenges facing rural farmers.

The event , which took place on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Ido Ekiti, drew farmers and stakeholders from across wards, local governments and the entire senatorial district.

Items distributed to farmers included fertilizers, chemicals, spraying pumps, and a cash package of ₦30,000 to support their transportation and logistics needs.

Addressing the beneficiaries, Senator Fasuyi congratulated the farmers and urged them to put the donated items to good use to improve productivity and enhance food security in Ekiti.

“This support is meant to make your work easier, boost harvest, and improve your livelihoods. Agriculture remains a vital pillar of our economy, and we must all play our roles in strengthening it,” he said.

Beyond the empowerment drive, the lawmaker reminded party members of the forthcoming APC gubernatorial primary election and called on them to throw their full weight behind Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) for a second term in office.

He encouraged grassroots mobilization across communities, stressing that Oyebanji’s development agenda must be sustained for the progress of Ekiti State.

Several speakers, including Mrs. Kemi Olaleye (Eye Sewa), Hon. Tunde Aladegbami and other community leaders, commended Senator Fasuyi’s generosity and consistent contributions to the welfare of his constituents. They assured him of continued support, describing his leadership style as people-centered and impactful.

Beneficiaries of the empowerment programme expressed gratitude for the senator’s timely intervention, praying for his success and pledging loyalty to the APC. They also declared their readiness to work for the electoral victory of Governor Oyebanji in the coming party primaries.
