3rd Year Anniversary: Hon. Ajibade Celebrates Governor Oyebanji’s Achievements, Applauds APC Consensus Endorsement

The Executive Chairman of Okemesi/Ido-Ile Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ajibade Sunday Owolabi, has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his third year anniversary in office, describing him as an epitome of good governance and true servant leader.

Hon. Ajibade, in a statement issued from his media office in Okemesi-Ekiti and made available to journalists on Wednesday, said Ekiti State has witnessed tremendous growth and development across all sectors under Oyebanji’s administration.

The council boss lauded Governor Oyebanji for his inclusive style of governance, saying his statesmanship, humility and ability to unite people across political lines have made him a model of leadership in the South-West.

“The governor’s approach to leadership, one that embraces everyone regardless of political or social affiliation is second to none.

“He has shown that politics can be driven by unity, development and compassion for the people,“ he said.

Ajibade also commended the governor for the massive infrastructural developments taking place across the state, especially in rural areas. He noted that the construction and rehabilitation of rural roads, extension of electricity projects and the upgrading and equipping of health centres and general hospitals across the state have boosted economic activities and improved access to essential services in rural communities.

“Governor Oyebanji’s commitment to developing rural areas is a clear sign that his government is truly people-oriented,” the chairman said.

While congratulating Oyebanji on his emergence as the consensus candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the forthcoming governorship election, Ajibade said the endorsement reflected the governor’s remarkable performance and wide acceptance across the state.

“The governor’s emergence as the APC flagbearer is a well-deserved honour and a testament to his unprecedented achievements in the last three years,” Ajibade stated.

Ajibade assured the governor of unwavering support from the people of Okemesi/Ido-Ile LCDA, adding that residents would reward his good work with massive votes during the forthcoming polls.

“The people of Okemesi/Ido-Ile LCDA will stand firmly with the governor because his good works speak for him. We will translate our appreciation into votes when the time comes,” he said.
