The Oyebanji Street Vanguard (OSV), a foremost mobilisation group for good governance and purposeful leadership, has described the progress recorded in Ekiti State over the past three years as a direct reflection of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s people-first approach to governance.

According to a statement signed by the Convener of the group, Mr. HC Ade, the OSV said Governor Oyebanji’s administration has brought stability, transparency, and inclusiveness into public administration, ensuring that government programmes and policies positively touch lives across all parts of the state.

The group commended the governor for demonstrating a governance model built on compassion, fairness, and the security of lives and property, adding that his developmental strides have strengthened citizens’ trust in the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government.

It said that within three years, Governor Oyebanji has executed impactful projects and human capital development programmes across the three senatorial districts, sixteen local government areas, and major communities in the state.

The statement noted that this deliberate approach to governance has earned the governor overwhelming support and endorsement from both the people and political stakeholders as the consensus candidate of the APC for the 2026 governorship election.

OSV expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his unwavering support for the Ekiti government, describing him as a dependable ally whose commitment continues to reinforce the state’s development agenda.

The group also commended the leadership of the APC at national and state levels for fostering party unity and steering it in line with the aspirations of the Ekiti people.

It further acknowledged the contributions of past governors, deputy governors, and members of the National Assembly from the state particularly the Leader of the Ekiti Caucus and Senate Leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele (CON) for their unity and selfless dedication to the state’s progress.

While congratulating Governor Oyebanji on his third anniversary in office, OSV urged him to remain focused on service delivery and deepen his reform agenda, reminding that “to whom much is given, much is expected.”

The group also appealed to Ekiti citizens to continue supporting the administration to sustain the peace and development currently being experienced.

“Congratulations, Your Excellency, on this remarkable third-year anniversary and your overwhelming consensus endorsement to continue your administration. No doubt, you deserve it, and Ekiti people deserve you,” the statement concluded.
